About the event
Join us for a relaxed afternoon of art, conversation, and nature in the heart of Kensington Gardens, as we visit both of the Serpentine Galleries - Serpentine South and Serpentine North - just a 5-minute walk apart across the iconic Serpentine Bridge.
We’ll begin at Serpentine South Gallery, considered the main gallery, where you can explore:
"A Capsule in Time" by architect Marina Tabassum, displayed outdoors and exploring themes of community and nature.
The indoor exhibition "Thoughts in the Roots" by Giuseppe Penone, which blends organic materials and philosophical reflection.
Then we’ll take a short walk over to Serpentine North Gallery to see "Remembering" by Arpita Singh, an evocative journey through memory, identity, and storytelling.
🎟 Tickets are free, but advance booking is advised in case of crowds: (Please note that if you RSVP on this page your ticket is not guaranteed: AwakenTrails Collective does not take responsibility for booking your ticket) Please book your free tickets in advance here: https://serpentinegalleries.ticketing.veevartapp.com/tickets/view/list/
Book Giuseppe Penone’s exhibit (South Gallery) for 2:00 PM
Book Arpita Singh’s exhibit (North Gallery) for 4:00 PM
Each gallery visit takes about an hour, giving us time to enjoy the gardens and the space in between.
After the two exhibitions, we’ll head to the nearby café overlooking the lake for a coffee and conversation. If the weather is nice, we’ll take a gentle walk through Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park, passing by its beautiful statues, fountains, and hidden gems.
Whether you're into art, nature, or just good company - this is a lovely way to spend a Monday afternoon. Please RSVP here to let us know if you are coming. Hope to see you there!
